Empowering Fund Kenya is a world bank initiative that aims at promoting economic growth in Kenya and improve the living standards of the Kenyan People. Kenya was selected as one of the countries that has been affected by political instability, drought, famine and banditry hence the need to roll out the program to boost the economic status of the Kenyan people.
The fund is available in form of grants to all Kenyans above 18+ years. With allocation of Ksh. 220billion every year, the organization targets 2 million Kenyans every year who have business ideas but lack capital to start their business or those who have existing businesses facing financial challenges.
